32nd Company Boys' Brigade

My Letter to you,

 

On behalf of Damai Secondary School and all the boys of the 32nd Boys' Brigade company, we will like to welcome you to this awesome adventure! The fact that you get to read this simply means that you are one of the brave and mightly soul out there who is ready to make a positive image in the lives of the boys entrusted to you. Welcome on board as a part of this awesome calling in transforming the boys into leaders of tomorrow. As the saying goes, "Manhood and Christlikeness is synonymous." Boys' Brigade is not just any CCA but it is a calling to teach and impart godly and christian values into the lives of all these boys. It is a calling that requires you not just to talk the talk, but to walk the walk; to role model and examplify Jesus in your life so that the boys can "catch" this values from you. 

 

Habakkuk 2:2 NKJV

"Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it."

 

It is by no coincidence that you are "assigned" to this CCA.  Just as you are reading this, I prayed that the anoiting, wisdom and grace of God will be upon you to educate, encourage and empower these budding youth that has been placed in your charge. The journey may not be a smooth and easy one and along the ways, there are bound to be challenges. However, always bear in mind that the grace of God is more than sufficient for you.

 

Galatians 6:9

"And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."

 

Bearing in mind that Damai Secondary School is a secular school and that boys' brigade is a Christian CCA, I pray that the wisdom of God will be upon you as you navigate between these two cultures. Poles apart they may be but always bearing in mind that Jesus is the Lord over both cultures as He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. The wisdom of God is always available as long as you ask of Him. 

 

James 1: 5

"If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking."

 

Last but not least, do not be afarid be courageous as you embark on this adventure. Whatever you said and do will have an eternal impact on these boys, their children and their many generation to come. 

 

Joshua 1:9

"This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

 

I hope that through this website, it will give you a glimpse of what is to come and that you will be prepared (administratively). As for the rest, may the Lord lead you in His grace and presence.
